How to evolve Gloom into Bellossom, Sunkern into Sunflora and Petilil into Lilligant explained?
How to evolve Gloom into Bellossom in Pokémon Go?
Evolving Gloom into Bellossom requires 25 Oddish candy and a total level of 220 or higher, which you can easily achieve by catching even 10 Pidgeys per day.
How to evolve Sunkern into Sunflora in Pokémon Go?
Evolving Sunkern into Sunflora requires 25 Sunkern Candy and a Sun Stone. Evolving any Pokémon consumes the resource (candies, stardust, candies, metal coat, etc) specific to that Pokémon. For example, evolving Sunkern into Sunflora consumes 25 Sunkern Candies and 1 Sun Stone.
You cannot evolve another Pokémon until the previous evolution is complete – you need to wait for the progress bar (if there’ Fires one) to fill up completely, then you’re free to evolve again. If you do not have enough candies or another resource to immediately evolve a new Pokémon, it’s best to wait until you have everything at your disposal before you begin.
How to evolve Petilil into Lilligant in Pokémon Go?
Evolution is a pillar of the Pokémon franchise, but it hasn’t always been implemented in Pokémon Go. With the introduction of new creatures in Gen 2 , Niantic has finally added evolution to the game. Players are now able to find evolutionary items that can be used to evolve certain Pokémon into their evolved forms when hatched from eggs .
One of the Gen 2 evolutions is Petilil’s second form – Lilligant.
Unfortunately, there is no Mega Stone in Pokémon Go and players cannot evolve their Petilils into Lilligant through normal means yet. However, there are two different tricks that can be used to evolve it. We don’t know if this was intentional on the developer’s part or not, but it surely made a lot of people happy!
Both methods work for evolving Lilligant into its final form. Keep in mind that evolution items will be consumed upon use and you’ll have to get more of them if you want to evolve more of your Pokémon.
First method: Using Sun Stone
The player must have a Litten in order to do this method, since Sun Stone is a possible drop from Pokémon of that evolutionary line. All you need to do is use your new found Sun Stone on the Litten and it will evolve into a Torracat . After that, use another Sun Stone on it and it will turn into a Incineroar . As you might have guessed, Incineroar will then evolve into Lilligant if you use Sun Stone on it again.
Second method: Using King’s Rock
King’s Rock is an evolution item that can be found from spinning PokéStops and as a possible reward from Raid Battles . It evolves Poliwhirl into Politoed , Slowpoke into Slowking and Poliwag into Poliwhirl. Lickitung can also evolve into Lickilicky if you use it on one of them during the process (not directly after catching them).
How to evolve Cottonee into Whimsicott in Pokémon Go?
If you have a Cottonee and have been wanting to evolve it into a Whimsicott but had no luck, your wish has come true!
The Cottonee family was recently renamed as ‘Whimsicott’ family in Pokémon Go. In order words, they are exactly the same just different name. Also, it is no longer a regional exclusive to route 20.
Since the renaming/blufication, Cottonee evolves into Whimsicott at any level now. Where to get one? From eggs.
How do I get it?
Step1: Catch or hatch a Cottonee . (Unconfirmed reports suggest you can also get it from eggs)
Step2: Evolve the Cottonee into Whimsicott. (Lvl 36+)
Evolutionary line: Cottonee > Whimsicott
Notes: As shown in the evolutionary line, Whimsicott’s type is grass/fairy and has above average defense and special attack (HP: 60 , attack: 67 and defense: 77).
Whimsicott will be a good addition to your team once you get one.
How to get the Sun Stone in Pokémon Go?
The Sun Stone is a special item in the Pokémon universe. In the main series of games, it is an extremely rare item that can be used to evolve certain species. In Pokémon Go however, they are not as difficult to come by and can be used to evolve Gloom into Bellossom and Sunkern into Sunflora.
Sun stones can be found in the wild or purchased at any Pokemart. Their only use is to evolve certain pokemon, so make sure you’re ready for this before using one!
