Influencer marketing is growing in popularity all of the time. We recently wrote about why we believe that influencer marketing is the new content king and have presented numerous other articles over the last year about the influencer marketing phenomenon.
Yet, to many people, influencer marketing is still a new idea. Brands now realize the importance of influencer marketing to their campaigns, but many have yet to learn how to go about engaging in it. So what’s a great way for people to expand their influencer marketing knowledge? To come together and hear from the experts at a conference.
The Influencer Marketing Hub is proud to put together the Inaugural Influencer Marketing Hub Conference in London on November 8th.
Of course, not everybody can be in London at that time, so we thought it would be useful to provide you with a list of conferences that could be of use to those interested in influencer marketing that are scheduled for the remainder of 2017. Although there are a few specialist influencer marketing conferences, like our own, most of these are more general conferences or expos that should be of value to those wanting to participate in influencer marketing.

While on the surface these may appear odd conferences to appear on an influencer marketing list, they are highly relevant for those businesses who work in the beauty niche. The BeautyCon Festivals are the ideal place for brands and influencers to meet up.
Indeed both the New York and Los Angeles festivals recognize this and make it easy for these meet-ups to occur. Visitors who buy the Social Package receive access to the Social Lounge, which is specifically designed for these influencer meetups. The list of items you are allowed to bring with you includes letters to your favorite influencers. As well as the meetups in the Social Lounge, those in the beauty niche can enjoy panels, tutorials, events and shows.

At the time of writing the agenda is yet to be made public, but there will undoubtedly be sessions highly relevant to those involved in video influencer marketing. It will be the ideal place to mix and mingle with video influencers. There are already many top content creators confirmed as attending.
They hold what they call a VidCon Meet & Greet Lottery to help set up meet and greets most fairly for those who are Community and Industry attendees. It is not a lottery in the sense of a gambling ticket – you don’t have to pay any extra to participate. You get the chance to send through a list of those you most want to meet and greet. A computer then sets up the most optimal meet and greet lists based on everybody’s wishes. Note, however, that you will have to be in quick to be part of this. Meet and Greet Lottery registration closes on May 16.
