Tessa Brooks Wiki, Biography, Age, Career

Tessa Brooks is an American dancer, model, actress and social media personality best-known for her beauty videos and vlogs on YouTube as well as her appearances on Disney’s “The Next Big Thing” and the web series “Boss Cheer.”

Tessa first started dancing when she was two years old and has been dancing ever since. She joined Team 10, created by Jake Paul, and later appeared as the first solo headliner for Fullscreen Live’s Girls Night In Tour.

Tessa Brooks was born on April 5, 1999 in Fresno, California, United States. Tessa has two sisters. The future social media personality started dancing when she was just tow years old and has been dancing ever since.

As of October 2020, Tessa Brooks has more than 9.7 million followers on Instagram, 3.5 million subscribers on YouTube, 121,000 followers on Facebook, 3.5 million followers on TikTok and 1 million followers on Twitter.

Tessa first became popular when she began posting videos of herself dancing online to music by popular artists like Nicki Minaj or Rita Ora. Tessa launched her YouTube channel in 2011 and began posting dancing videos to her page. She has since acquired more than 318 million lifetime views on her channel, though much of her content now centers around beauty, make-up and vlogs.

However, her first big break happened when she performed on the Disney TV show “The Next Big Thing.”

Once Tessa danced on the show, her career online took off. Tessa joined a dance group called Team 10, which helped her collaborate and exposed her to larger audiences. Team 10 was started by Logan Paul’s brother, Jake Paul. The dancer appeared in music videos for artists like Diamond White and T-Pain.

Early in her career, Tessa got involved with modeling and appeared in advertisements for big brands such as Contours Designs, Marc Jacobs, Smashbox Cosmetics, and Coca Cola.

In 2017, Tessa decided to leave the dance group Team 10. She explained in a video in 2018 that she felt as if she was heading in different directions from the group. “It’s a really sucky thing, it is what it is. You have to know when to let go… We’ve grown apart and we’re heading in different directions, and that’s totally okay,” Tessa said in her YouTube video. “It’s not something that is right for me anymore. We just disagree on a lot of things. Things just aren’t how they used to be.” Tessa said she had other reasons for leaving, but did not disclose them due to their personal nature.

Tessa’s next big break happened in 2018, when she became the first solo headliner for Fullscreen Live’s Girls Night In Tour. The tour stopped in 20 cities across the nation. Tessa said in an interview that it felt incredible doing the tour all by herself. “I wanted to go on tour since I was kid because of dance,” she said. “I’ve never thought I’d be able to do it just me. So, this is the coolest feeling ever. The best part is getting to meet the fans and perform for them and sharing that moment with them – to hug them and talk to them. The Brooksters are the best, it’s for them.”

That same year, in 2018, Tessa appeared on the web series “Boss Cheer” as Madison Walker. She later appeared on the TV series “yA” and “Happy Hazel.”

Tessa has said in interviews that her long-term goal is to teach dance to kids that can’t afford it. “Dancing is such a beautiful art form because you can tell a story or express yourself in a way that words can’t… A thing I really want to make happen is teaching dance to kids who, due to circumstances beyond their control, can’t afford to take a dance class,” Tessa told InLove Magazine.

In 2017, Tessa began dating Chance Sutton. Several months after they started hinting they were dating, the pair pretended to get married in Vegas and made it official that they were together.

However, several months later, the couple broke up. “Chance and I started off as best friends and that is part of the reason why we worked so well as a couple, just because we feel extremely comfortable around each other,” Tessa said in a video, explaining that they decided they were better off as friends.

The break-up came under further scrutiny when a hacker leaked conversations between fellow YouTube star FaZe Banks and Chance where FaZe accused Chance of cheating on Tessa; photos and videos showed Chance getting cozy and comfortable with other girls during the time he was seeing Tessa.
