Today we prepared a treat for all of you who recently joined the game or hopped back into it after the news about the development being resumed – a collection of top Payday 2 builds in 2020! As many of you probably know, it”s getting harder and harder to find viable builds for team play, and even harder to get your hands on viable solo builds. Especially if you”ll be doing Payday 2 Death Sentence heists. Today we brought you a solution to that problem with a selection of top builds. We”ll talk a little about each one and how they work, what they focus on, advantages and disadvantages, and of course we”ll provide you with a link to the build so you can bookmark it and check back later. Let”s get started!
Best Death Sentence builds:
Fire Anarchist is the first of top Payday 2 builds in 2020
Kicking off our list of top Payday 2 builds of 2020 is the Fire Anarchist. A pretty straightforward build that focuses on crowd control, damage over time, and taking out specials in a single shot. You can find the Fire Anarchist build here.
Đang xem: Payday 2 best perk deck for stealth
The Fire Anarchist build uses the Anarchist perk deck which lets you recover armour when dealing damage. The build is perfect for team play as it is a jack of all trades (and master of all). The core of the build requires very little skill points, leaving the rest to be distributed across all abilities. Your team needs a saw? You got it. Your team lack a medic bag? No problem. Your team would like someone with an ECM to bust open doors and ATMs? You”re there for them because you”re the MVP here. However, you don”t limit yourself to just one equipment option. Instead, you”ll be carrying two equipments of your choice wherever you go.
Most importantly, this build focuses around setting stuff on fire and then making a break for it while they”re busy trying to put themselves out. Your secondary weapon (and your bread and butter) will be the Grimm 12G Shotgun. The mandatory mod for Fire Anarchist build is the Dragon”s Breath Round ammunition. The other mods are not mandatory but you”ll want to boost your damage and stability.
For your primary weapon you”ll be using the R93 Sniper Rifle. You”ll mostly use this for dealing with the special enemies. It doesn”t really matter which exact mods you put on it, but you”ll want to increase the stability as much as you can. Bonus feature – it penetrates shields. Try it out and you”ll see why this is one of the top Payday 2 builds.
Stoic build that reigns supreme amongst Payday 2 builds 2020
Stoic has always been a somewhat underrated perk deck, but that doesn”t stop it from having a build that would land on the list of top Payday 2 builds. You only take 25% of damage with Stoic perk deck equipped, with the other 75% being dealt to you over the next 12 seconds. The trick to it? You get a flask from which you can take a swig from to cancel the incoming damage.
I call this the Stoic Hulk, and here is the build. The Stoic Hulk works great for both solo and team play, and it shines when somebody has to complete an objective in the open. Do you hate when you have to fix a drill in the middle of a street with gazillion enemies shooting at you? With this build you won”t care about it. You can go in, fix the drill, run back to safety, and negate almost all of the damage they dealt to you. However, I highly encourage shooting back as it lowers the cooldown on your hip flask. You can practically chain the damage negation forever.
Your primary weapon, and the one you”ll be using most of the time, is the KSP Light Machine Gun. With an amazing damage and magazine size as it is all you”ll want to mod is the accuracy and stability. This will allow you to take out huge groups of enemies without reloading and wasting bullets.
In case the enemies decide to group up prepare yourself with your secondary weapon – Arbiter Grenade Launcher. Once again, you don”t have to mod it, but I like to boost my accuracy and stability all the way up to 100 to get the most bang for my buck. When it comes to Payday 2 builds 2020 version you can”t go wrong with this one.
King amongst Payday 2 builds, or how to do Payday 2 Death Sentence
Do you want to try out Payday 2 Death Sentence difficulty solo? I have some good news for you. The Immortal Kingpin is a frenzied and extremely fun build that shines in solo play. It uses the Kingpin perk deck which boost your maximum health and equips you with injector. When used, the injector will heal you for 75% of the damage you”ve taken during the last 6 seconds. The Immortal Kingpin is a build that utilises the hit-and-run strategy. You get out there, clear out as many enemies as possible, then run back to cover and heal up. You”ll find the build guide here.
What makes this build as fun as it is are your weapons. As a primary weapon you”ll want to pick up Akimbo Krinkov Submachine Guns. Given that it”s a duel-wield weapon, stability is a must when it comes to modding. Another disadvantage of the akimbo builds is the reload time. That”s why you”ll want to use the Speed Pull Magazine mod which cuts your reload time in half. You”ll also be going through a lot of ammo really fast so make sure to pick up as much as you can while playing.
However, you still might find yourself without time to reload or short on ammo. That”s why you”ll want a reliable secondary weapon. In this case it”s the Micro Uzi Submachine Gun. Given its hard recoil you”ll want to put every possible mod into stability. That way you won”t be shooting around enemies.
The only Payday 2 Grinder build you”ll need for Death Sentence
Now here is a fun one – the Regeneration Grinder build. There are many Grinder builds out there, but this one is specifically made for solo play. As you might know, the Grinder perk deck lets you heal a portion of your health over several seconds every time you hit an enemy. This makes the Grinder perk deck one of the best choices in Death Sentence as it allows you to withstand a lot of damage and recover from it. Couple that with an amazing dodge chance and you have an unstoppable force shooting stuff left and right. Here is the build guide. I am aware it looks very different than other top Death Sentence builds, but don”t worry, it”s been tested and it works. It just requires a bit of time to get used to it, and proper bot skill setups.
As far as weapons go, you”ll want to equip yourself with the IZHMA 12G Shotgun primary. Make sure to modify it with the 000 Buckshot ammo and The Silent Killer Suppressor. As far as the rest of the mods go, you”ll want to boost accuracy and stability as much as possible. Make sure to get concealment at 25 or lower in order to maximise the benefits from your skills.
For your secondary you”ll want something that can take out heavy targets and snipers. That”s why The Judge Shotgun is the perfect choice. HE Rounds are your best bets for taking out heavies, as well as modifying it for the most accuracy possible. Given its low firing rate you probably won”t need great stability. You”ll probably have to add some concealment boosts in order to reach 25 concealment.
The ultimate Payday 2 stealth build
Let”s not forget about stealth. After all, it”s a big part of the game. Even though it”s optional most of the time. Luckily, the best stealth build for Death Sentence is quite straightforward. Here is how you make the Shadow Burglar stealth build in Payday 2. First and foremost, choose the Burglar perk deck. The Burglar perk deck brings a whole set of bonuses for stealth, such as faster lockpicking, corpse bagging, and answering pages. And let”s not forget about the increased crouched movement speed. Next, you”ll want to take these skills.
As far as the weapons go, you”ll want viable silenced options with maximum concealment bonus. Given that you won”t have to do much shooting you don”t have to focus on the damage. However, you”ll still want something that can one-shot unsuspecting guards. There are several good options for this, but I recommend taking the Akimbo Chimano Compact Pistols as primary. Put Size Doesn”t Matter Suppressor on them as it is the only one that doesn”t carry a penalty to concealment.
For secondary, go with the Gruber Kurz Pistol sporting another Size Doesn”t Matter Suppressor. And that”s it, you”re ready to go stealthing!
