Ali Kabbani, known as Myth, formerly TheMyth, on social media, is an American gamer and streamer best known for his mastery of Epic Games’ Fortnite Battle Royale. In his early years, he frequently broadcasted the game Paragon and Miscreated, two games from the studio Epic Games. 

When Epic released Fortnite Battle Royale in 2017, he started to stream it, and his followers grew by millions in a single year. He quickly grew to become one of the most-followed streamers on Twitch. He’s the captain of the Fortnite team called Team SoloMid (TSM) which includes players Hamlinz and Daequan.

Ali Kabbani, known as Myth, formerly TheMyth, on social media, was born on May 24, 1999 in Michigan. Ali is of Middle Eastern descent. Not much is known about his early upbringing. 

As of September 2021, Myth has more than 6.6 million followers on Instagram, 4.6 million subscribers on YouTube, 7.3 million followers on Twitch, 2.5 million followers on Twitter, 113,000 followers on Facebook and 1.8 million followers on TikTok. 

Ali became popular on social media by streaming his gaming on Fortnite on Twitch and YouTube, where he quickly became known as one of the best builders in the Fortnite community. He’s the captain of the Fortnite team called Team SoloMid (TSM) which includes players Hamlinz and Daequan. 

Ali started playing video games at a young age: just four years old. When he joined Twitch in 2016, he started becoming a popular streamer. In his early years, he frequently broadcasted the game Paragon and Miscreated, two games from the studio Epic Games. 

When Epic released Fortnite Battle Royale in 2017, he started to stream it, and his followers grew exponentially. He gained millions of followers within a year. He quickly grew to become one of the most-followed streamers on Twitch. He has compared the Fortnite building and editing mechanics to a kind of game of chess. 

In 2018, Ali made headlines in the streaming and gaming world for the streamers’ tendencies to highlight their big name deaths instead of prioritizing the viewing experience. 

Since becoming popular, Ali’s streams on Twitch feature multiple other streamers, including Pokimane and Summit1g. 

In 2019, Ali was among one of the streamers paid an undisclosed amount of money to stream Apex Legends, a competing game to Fortnite Battle Royale. His fellow streaming star Ninja was paid $1 million.
