Mandy Rose was born on February 19, 1983 in Illinois, the United States. She graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration and worked for a large health care company for multiple years.
As of September 2021, Mandy has more than 35,600 followers on Instagram, 10,800 subscribers on YouTube, and 24,000 followers on Facebook.
Mandy quit her full-time corporate job at a health-care company in November 2011 and transitioned to working as a full-time online marketer and staying at home. She launched her blog House of Rose around 2009.
Mandy met her husband in college; they were next door neighbors. They married in Las Vegas in 2004, prior to his 15-month tour of duty to Baghdad, Iraq. Mandy’s husband started blogging first and founded Good Financial Cents among many other media companies. He is also a full-time certified financial planner.
Mandy and her family were featured on the TLC series “Behind Closed Doors: The American Family.”
In addition to her House of Rose blog, Mandy co-founded Marriage More with her husband to try and encourage other married couples to make their marriage their priority.
“When we first got married, we were young and had no idea what unconditional love meant,” Mandy writes on her blog. “We spent a good portion of our marriage living in the hamster wheel, as we like to call it. Getting up everyday and going through the motions, but not living and loving intentionally. Then came career changes, kids and greater responsibilities.”
With Marriage More, Mandy and her husband also have a podcast that takes on the topics of marriage as well.
Mandy also co-founded the online community Happy Mommy Box with her best friend Natalie. Happy Mommy Box is designed to encourage and inspire moms with surprise monthly care packages, shop items and The Celebrate Motherhood Retreats. Happy Mommy Box was later closed so both Mandy and Natalie could focus more on their careers.
