Ludwig Wahlberg, better known as Zai on social media, is a Swedish Dota 2 professional player. The gamer made his Dota2 debut at a number of smaller events ahead of The International 2013. He eventually joined SADBOYS alongside a number of high-profile players, and the team quickly became sponsored by Evil Geniuses. 

Zai played on-and-off with Evil Geniuses for several years. Zai is perhaps best known as the substitute on the Dota 2 team Evil Geniuses during their 2015 first place win at The International. In 2018, Zai signed with Team Secret to continue playing Dota 2. The year proved to be one of his most successful. The team placed in the top four spots in five major tournaments of the 2018-2019 Dota Pro Circuit season. He remains with Team Secret.

Ludwig Wahlberg, better known as Zai on social media, was born on August 5, 1997 in Sweden. 

As of January 2021, Ludwig Wahlberg has more than 218,000 followers on Twitch, 29,800 followers on Instagram and 138,700 followers on Twitter. 

Zai started playing video games at a young age and as a teenager, would frequently play Heroes of Newerth. In 2013, Zai started to play Dota 2 alongside Stay Free and a number of other gamers who moved from Heroes of Newerth to Dota2. 

The gamer made his professional debut in a number of smaller events ahead of The International 2013, alongside former rival Peter “ppd” Dager. Peter and Zai bounced around a number of different teams, but eventually joined SADBOYS with Clinton “Fear” Loomis and other high profile players. The team quickly became sponsored by Evil Geniuses. 

Zai is perhaps best known as the substitute on the Dota 2 team Evil Geniuses during their 2015 first place win at The International. Zai played on the team alongside Fear, one of the most respected Dota 2 players of all time. The team took home more than six million dollars in prize money for their finish. 

The gamer opted to substitute for the team in 2015 and part of 2016 in order to spend more time focusing on his high school studies. 

At the time when he substituted on the Evil Geniuses team, Zai was officially a member of Kaipi. However, in June 2016, Zai signed with the Dota 2 team Evil Geniuses for a full-time contract. 

In 2016, Evil Geniuses took home third place at the Shanghai Major 2016. The team again qualified for The International and later finished in third place. The following year, the team finished 9th-12th at The International. 

In 2018, Zai signed with Team Secret to continue playing Dota 2. The year proved to be one of his most successful. The team placed in the top four spots in five major tournaments of the 2018-2019 Dota Pro Circuit season. Team Secret took home gold in the Chongqing Major and MDL Disneyland Paris Major. Though the team entered The International 2019 as a favorite to win, they finished fourth. 

Zai remained with Team Secret following The International 2019. The team won DreamLeague Season 13, reestablishing their dominance. 

In addition to his competitive tournaments, Zai has also found great success on Twitch as a Twitch streaming partner. He has acquired more than 218,000 followers on Twitch.
