Mark Ian Hoyle, better known online as LadBaby, is a British lifestyle blogger, graphic designer, and YouTube star. Mark started his blog “Ladbaby” when his wife Roxanne was pregnant with their first child. The blog soon expanded into various social media channels of the same name. Ladbaby videos contain life hacks which help him save money, especially when parenting can get expensive. In 2019, the Hoyles published their first book, “Parenting for £1: …And Other Baby Budget Hacks.” The book details some of their popular life hacks. 

Mark and his wife Roxanne have had three consecutive Christmas number one singles on the UK Singles Chart in 2018, 2019 and 2020 with the novelty songs “We Built This City”, “I Love Sausage Rolls” and “Don’t Stop Me Eatin’” respectively. These hits made them the third-ever act to have three consecutive Christmas number one hit singles in a row, right after The Beatles and the Spice Girls.

Mark Ian Hoyle, better known online as LadBaby, was born on April 12, 1987 in Nottingham, England, the United Kingdom. Mark married his wife Roxanne in 2015 when they eloped in Las Vegas. The couple has two sons, Phoenix and Kobe. 

As of September 2021, Ladbaby has more than 1.05 million subscribers on YouTube, 69,300 followers on Twitter, 5.5 million followers on Facebook, 1.5 million followers on Instagram, and 2.9 million followers on TikTok. 

Mark started his blog “Ladbaby” when his wife Roxanne was pregnant with their first child. The name refers to the fact that he “was a lad and was having a baby.” The blog documented his life as a first-time parent. 

The blog soon expanded into various social media channels of the same name. On YouTube, Ladbaby posts a number of videos featuring his experiences as a father; many of his videos include his wife Roxanne. Many of his videos contain life hacks which help him save money, especially when parenting can get expensive. 

One of his vlogs from 2017 went viral when Mark bought a toolbox from a local store and used it as a lunchbox for his son. Other viral videos include him using pipes to make a baby walker, or a paddling pool using a skip. In another viral video, half of a door makes a baby gate. 

Ladbaby is known for his life hacks as well as his popular catchphrases, including “Yes, mate!” 

In 2018, Mark and his wife launched a spin-off YouTube channel titled Ladybaby & Sons, where their sons help produce content. The channel includes frequent videos of kids testing toys as well as child-friendly social media challenges.
