Andrew B. Bachelor, also known as King Bach, is an Canadian-American actor and internet personality that rose to fame as the most-followed personality on Vine before the video sharing platform was shut down.
The internet personality translated his success to a career and has landed him roles on “House of Lies” and “The Mindy Project.”
Andrew B. Bachelor, also known as King Bach, was born on June 26, 1988 in Toronto, Canada to Jamaican parents. He has one sister named Ingrid. The family was strictly Christian and raised the kids as such. When he was two years old, the family moved to West Palm Beach in Florida.
As of September 2021, the internet personality has more than 2.4 million followers on Twitter, 21 million Instagram followers, 11 million Facebook fans and 23.2 million TikTok followers. He also manages the BachelorsPadTV YouTube channel with more than 2.48 million YouTube subscribers.
Andrew grew up in Florida and attended Florida State University, where he joined the elite collegiate sketch group 30in60. He graduated and enrolled at the New York Film Academy, but later dropped out right before graduating and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
The young actor studied improvisational theater at The Groundlings, a famous sketch and improv club.
Andrew first started his internet career when he posted to YouTube in 2010 with his account BachelorsPadTV. However, he hit it big when he started posting to the video sharing platform Vine in 2013. His friend and fellow Vine star Brittany Furlan introduced him to Vine. By 2015, he was Vine’s most-followed account. He holds the Guinness World Record for Most-Followed Account on Vine. At the time, he was getting requests for sponsorships, but turned them all down.
After gaining notoriety as a Vine star, Andrew signed with the talent agency UTA and began to transition to more traditional mediums. He landed a recurring role in the hit show “House of Lies” and joined “Wild ‘n Out” on MTV.
Since then, Andrew has had a number of starring and guest roles on popular TV shows and movies. He became a series regular on Adult Swim’s “Black Jesus” and had a guest role on “The Mindy Project.”

In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Andrew founded the RuJohn Foundation. The foundation aims to provide educational tools for rural and intercity schools in Jamaica and the U.S.A. In addition, the foundation organizes sports camps, financial literacy workshops and more.
