What is Royal Honey?
Royal honey is a health supplement that many people believe will improve their sexual prowess and make them more fertile. Its advertisements offer some remarkable claims. Royal Jelly is “the queen bee’s exclusive diet” and it causes the queen to grow larger than the other bees in the hive who all remain infertile. The queen also lives for as long as five years while her subjects only live six weeks at most. Human beings on royal jelly, we are told, can look forward to great longevity and improved fertility; men can expect increased potency and immunity against illnesses like flu and tuberculosis, while women will be blessed with undying youth and fertility (and greater ease when it comes to giving birth). Unfortunately for those of us who might wish to follow the queen’s example, it is illegal to sell royal jelly as a food item. (You need a prescription for that.)
Royal honey, on the other hand, can be bought without any difficulty whatsoever. Royal jelly is made only by the honeybees in the hive around the young queen bee; no other bees make or use it. Thus royal jelly is unique to one type of bee and bees are easy to keep. Surplus hives can readily be purchased from some suppliers for as little as sixty dollars per hive; you’re not likely to find them at your local hardware store but some specialist outlets stock hives and their accessories. The hives themselves are rather more substantial than those people use for backyard beekeeping; they measure about two feet by one foot by thirty inches and are sold complete with “frames” (the white wooden bit in the middle) and “gears” (the things that make the frames turn). Others, like the ones I purchased last year provide no guidance on beekeeping or maintenance; they come pre-assembled and ready to use out of the box.
Royal jelly must be gathered by hand directly from selected worker bees. Some suppliers sell their royal jelly in tubes while others only offer jars of honey laced with bits of jelly; you’re supposed to take a teaspoonful of this mixture three times each day for best results. Royal Jelly comes at a price, though; some brands cost $50, $60 or even $80 an ounce so daily dosages quickly add up to large amounts of money. Be aware, though; while most suppliers will claim that their product is pure and unadulterated, others say they only provide “Royal Jelly Capsules” or even admit that their products contain unspecified quantities of honey and/or pollen which serve as a medium for the active ingredients in the jelly (so your $80 jar may not be too good for you after all).
Why buy royal honey instead of just regular honeysy?
# Because they’re advertised to contain valuable nutrients.
# Because some of them are said to inhibit the growth of bacteria.
# Some claim that Royal jelly enhances sexual performance and increases virility; others say they help fight off viruses like influenza, bronchitis and tuberculosis (TB); still others maintain it has medicinal value in treating illnesses like arthritis, gout, hypertension and diabetes.
So what’s inside royal honey?
# A tiny amount of pollen, which may have anti-bacterial properties but isn’t usually found in sufficient quantities for this to be significant.
(1) There are claims that pollen can increase fertility or improve sexual performance by strengthening the kidneys but these claims were refuted by several scientists between 1978 and 2005. There is no evidence to support any of these claims.
# A substance called “vitellogenin,” a protein that makes up about 70% of royal jelly’s dry weight, but it isn’t unique in this regard. Vitellogenin can be found in chicken egg yolks, snail and fish roe, cow milk, in the roots of legumes, and in bee honey.
(3) [In fact many foods have been show to contain vitellogenin so don’t believe everything you hear]
# Water—typically around 17-18 percent water by weight.
# Sugars: Around 50% fructose, 30% glucose and 20% sucrose.
(4) [sucrose is just table sugar]
# Water-soluble vitamins: B-complex and vitamin C.
(5) [vitamins aren’t unique to royal jelly]
# Minerals and trace elements: calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus and zinc.
There’s no doubt about it — royal jelly contains a lot of water and sugars. Many other substances have been detected in minute amounts but nobody knows exactly how much because there’s very little research on this topic (and the existing studies disagree with one another).
(6) [so it has stuff in it that basically sums up to bee barf]. Other ingredients sometimes identified as “royal jelly” are bee milk (which is produced by young bees), bee bread (which is stored in the hive), bee pollen, and honey.
(7) [bee barf]
# Royal jelly has been said to inhibit cancer growth but there is no scientific research that proves this effect. In fact, a lab study on mice resulted in tumor growth inhibition when royal jelly was injected directly into tumors, while it had an opposite effect when consumed orally—it actually increased cancer growth.
(8) [Inhibit not shrink]
# Some people have been allergic to royal jelly or other bee products including venom from stings or pharyngeal glands. Very few cases of anaphylaxis were documented in the literature studied by the authors of one paper published between 1990 and 2006. Most reactions were milder and included itching, swelling and rashes.
(9) [which is quite common among bee allergies]
# The amount of royal jelly used in cosmetics (lotions, creams, etc.) varies widely. It depends on the product’s claims and other ingredients for which little or no research has been done to determine their safety when combined with royal jelly. Some cosmetic uses can be harmful; others are safe enough but not tested/proven effective. Everything else—the majority of products that claim to contain royal jelly—are just bogus.
# None of the aforementioned components have been proven to enhance virility or sexual performance or treat any medical condition except for acting as a laxative.
Uses of royal honey
Royal honey is a very powerful nutrient rich in a variety of substances, including amino acids and vitamins. It has been used as a treatment for iron deficiency anemia, as well as other conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome. Royal jelly also plays the role of an adaptogen, restoring homeostasis to the body by helping to combat stress and fatigue. In addition, it has been shown that royal jelly stimulates the secretion of human growth hormone which indirectly contributes to boosting muscle mass.
What are some ways that people use royal honey in their daily lives
Recipes for using Royal Honey – breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, drink recipes etc…
Royal Honey has well over 50 different health benefits. I personally eat it for breakfast, lunch or dinner everyday because of all the great benefits it brings to my life. It is well known as a cure-all but personally I don’t believe in “cures” because nothing will ever replace proper medical treatment if you are ill. However, Royal Honey can be used for many other things aside from eating it raw, although that way is definitely the most healthy and delicious! You can use Royal Jelly King honey in anything you desire, even drinks! The following recipe section only covers 10% of what you can do with RKH (Royal KIng Honey) but it should give an idea on how many there are available…
Everyone has had one… But did you know Royal Jelly King Honey can reduce the effect of alcohol in your body? It’s scientifically proven! So for those who wish to have some fun without feeling too bad, you need to try this mix: 1 part Royal Honey 3 parts Pomegranate Juice Mix all three well together and serve it in a Martini glass with ice cubes. Remember, don’t overdo it! This drink tastes extremely good so if you’re looking for something refreshing then this is definitely the right pick.
– Anti-cancer / Detoxifying agents –
Mix 1 tablespoon of Royal Jelly King Honey with 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar and mix well. Leave it to steep for 10 minutes then drink. This may taste horrible the first time you try it but over time, your taste buds will get used to it! I personally use this one for breakfast because it enables me to have a healthy digestive system throughout the day. It is also good if you want to detoxify your body or even cure a hangover. You can also use other drinks instead of apple cider vinegar such as lime juice, water or peppermint tea – pretty much anything non-alcoholic!
– Making Crystal clear Ice Cubes –
This technique takes out all the toxins from water which means no more ice cubes with an unknown taste! It’s worth mentioning that even if you drink tap water, there exists a possibility that it contains sodium fluoride. Royal Jelly King Honey is the only known solution to remove this by-product from your drinking water. To demonstrate this, fill up a glass of water and leave it out for 2 hours then come back and take a sip – you will feel like you’re chewing on ice cubes because of all the chemicals left in the bottom! Pour away the water and try again but this time add 1 tablespoon of RKH – give it a mix and leave for another 10 minutes. Once done, strain off all the honey/water mixture through a sieve so as to only have clear liquid left. Use this as a base for making your ice cubes and you can enjoy a fresh tasting drink with no after-taste!
– Making RKH Tea –
This is kind of like how you make normal tea but slightly difference. You will need to buy tea bags from the store (English Breakfast, any other brand should do) because Royal Jelly King Honey isn’t as fine as sugar which means it won’t dissolve in water too well without leaving a lot of excess solid particles. Follow this step by step guide: 1. Fill the kettle with boiling water 2. Place a teabag in a cup 3. Pour enough boiling water so that it fully covers the bag 4. Add a teaspoon of Royal Jelly King Honey 5 Leave it to steep for 3 minutes 6 Pour away the water and enjoy your tea with no milk!
– Cooking RKH –
Royal Jelly King Honey can be used as a substitute for sugar in any recipe you desire. Many people tend to use honey to sweeten their food instead of adding refined sugars but this one has many added health benefits which normal honey doesn’t have! Using Royal Jelly Honey will also give your dishes a nice shine that adds character, making them look more visually appealing. The following are just 2 recipes that I’ve tried using Royal Honey but there are hundreds if not thousands of different variations possible! Try them yourself at home and experiment with what you like best…

what are some things people should look out for before purchasing those?
Royal Jelly can be found in some dietary supplements on the market today – what are some things people should look out for before purchasing those?
In order to buy quality products from reputable manufacturers, consumers must first find out whether or not their product contains 100% royal jelly. Royal jelly is a substance produced by worker bees to feed the larvae, queen bee and drones. 100% pure royal jelly does not contain any other substances or additives that may dilute its potency which makes it quite expensive for manufacturers to produce. Therefore, look out for ingredients that are added into the product you’re purchasing. For example, some products use diluted royal jelly extracts, therefore it is necessary to read the ingredient label carefully before making a purchase. Most importantly, it’s important to find out where your honey has been sourced from so as to ensure its safety and quality. Always buy your royal honey locally from trusted apiaries/beekeepers in your country of residence since there are so many fake products being circulated on the market today.
Following on from the last question, what are some ways to tell if a product contains diluted royal jelly?
If you’re buying your royal honey locally from trusted beekeepers/apiaries in your country of residence, then it is virtually impossible for you to purchase fake products. However, if you’re purchasing from e-commerce websites or other online retailers, it’s important to find out whether or not your product is safe and authentic. There are so many re-sellers and unauthorized distributors traversing the world today with diluted and even fake products in their possession. So how do we know if our royal jelly supplements contain 100% pure royal jelly extracts? Here are a couple of tests that can be used by consumers: 1) pH test. Pure royal jelly has a pH level of 4.5 or below therefore you can conduct a simple test at home by placing an amount of the supplement under your tongue; if the product tingles, it is safe to assume that the product contains pure royal jelly. 2) Royal jelly must always be stored in glass jars/containers and not plastic bottles because the latter leeches hormone-disruptive chemicals into this nutrient rich substance. The best option would be to purchase your honey supplements in amber glass containers for optimal freshness and quality.
3) There are so many factors that affect nectar collected from flowers such as weather conditions, climate change, seasonal changes etc. Do you think these factors may the nutritional properties of the final product fluctuate and if yes, how do we know that the product is stable?
There are so many factors that affect nectar collected from flowers such as weather conditions, climate change, seasonal changes etc. Yes, these factors may have an effect on the nutritional properties of the final nectar collected from flowers but it does not necessarily mean that our royal honey supplements will be unusable. The beauty about natural products is that they come in a complete package. Let me give you a couple of examples: Imagine a plant extract which has just been harvested – what happens when I place this extract in my refrigerator for say 1-2 days? The extract will become weaker and weaker until its nutrients have dissipated entirely. However, when I process this extract by exposing it to a certain form of heat during my manufacturing process, the extract will become more potent and stable. Nature does not provide us with excess nutrients unlike man-made products. For example, let’s take vitamin C as an example – most consumers are aware that vitamin c is unstable therefore they buy 1000mg potency tablets for optimal freshness and quality. However, if we look at nature closely, oranges contain only 70mg of vitamin C per fruit therefore bulk manufacturers/formulators must find creative ways to stabilize this nutrient rich substance so as to give their customers a complete package. If you want your royal jelly supplements to be 100% pure and potent whilst maintaining the nutritional integrity of this product from start to finish, immerse it in hot water during the manufacturing process and you will have a stable royal jelly supplement without compromising its nutritional properties.
4) I have recently heard of other bee products such as propolis being used for dietary supplementation, how do we know if these supple
