Egg life egg white wraps are a healthy, gluten-free alternative to bread. With only three ingredients and no cooking required, these wraps are perfect for breakfast on the go! The recipe is also vegan friendly.

Makes 4 x 25cm wraps

What you will need:

4 organic eggs (separated from yolks)

120 ml of organic, unsweetened almond milk (or another plant-based milk if you prefer)

1/2 teaspoon of sea salt

What to do:

Separate the eggs carefully. 3 will be used to make the wraps and 1 will be used for binding ingredients together. Discard or use egg yolks in other recipes. Beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks using a whisk or electric mixer. Gently fold in salt with a spatula, being careful not to over mix so you don’t lose all the air bubbles from your egg whites. Combine almond milk with beaten egg white mixture until well mixed, creating a milky liquid. With lightly greased parchment paper on the bottom, pour the wrap mixture into a round baking dish or frying pan. Place in oven on high broil for 3 minutes or until top of wrap starts to turn golden brown. Remove from oven, carefully flip over onto a cutting board and remove parchment paper. Let cool before filling with your favourite ingredients!
