Nathan Ryan, better known online as Crayator, is an Australian Twitch streamer and gamer best known for his Fortnite: Battle Royale and Minecraft videos. Nathan has played a large variety of content on both Twitch and YouTube, including Overwatch, but the gamer has found the most success with battle royale games. 

Nathan is a member of Click, a gaming and content creation group that includes prominent gamers like Muselk, LazarBeam, Loserfruit, Mully, Mrfreshasian and Bazza Gazza.

Nathan Ryan, better known online as Crayator, was born on January 1, 1993 in Warrawong, Australia. Not much is known about his early life and his upbringing.

As of September 2021, Nathan has more than 737,000 followers on Twitch, 1.14 million subscribers on YouTube, 506,000 followers on Instagram, 470,600 followers on Twitter and 859,600 followers on TikTok. 

Nathan has been active on social media since 2013 playing a variety of games, but he started to first get noticed in 2017 when he started playing Overwatch. Overwatch content helped Nathan’s content take off. 

Nathan has played a large variety of content on both Twitch and YouTube, but the gamer has found the most success with Fortnite: Battle Royale videos as well as Minecraft videos. 

Nathan launched his YouTube channel in 2013 and has since gained more than 56 million lifetime views on his account. His content includes a variety of video game-specific content, including content from games like Among Us, Fortnite, and Minecraft. In addition, he posts reaction videos and more general gaming videos.

Nathan has spoken about how demanding it can be to game for your day job. His audience can be demanding, he says. If you don’t stream at certain times, you may find yourself facing questions from your fans. 

“No matter what anybody says, when you turn a hobby into a job, I feel like you’re always trying to up yourself. It gets to people. You do get drained,” Nathan said. 

“For the most part, I do feel like I owe my audience some sort of respect of schedule and content,” he added in an interview with CNET. “Your audience are who pay you at the end of the day. They are who enjoy you. I feel culpable to that ideal of sticking to my word.”

In 2020, Nathan and his fellow gamers in the Click Crew raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Australian brush fire relief.
