What are cheez waffies?

Cheez Waffies are a delicious snack that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re looking for a quick on-the-go breakfast, an after school snack, or just something to satisfy your craving when the munchies hit – Cheez Waffies have got you covered

Recipes for different flavors of waffies

They come in three flavors: Original, Cheddar Cheese and Jalapeno Jack. The original flavor has been around since 1982 and features chunks of real cheddar cheese baked into crispy wafers. The Cheddar Cheese flavor also features chunks of real cheddar cheese as well as a sweet and tangy tomato sauce that becomes gooey once heated up. Finally, the Jalapeño Jack variety is made with seasoned jalapeños mixed in a spicy sauce, all baked up in a crispy wafer.

For this recipe, you’ll need: milk, sugar, butter, salt, vanilla extract (or any other flavorings you want to use), all-purpose flour, eggs, baking powder. You can also add in chocolate chips or other mix-ins.

1. Mix together the wet ingredients in one bowl and dry ingredients in another. Then combine them both!

2. Heat up your waffle iron! Spray it with nonstick spray before adding batter so they don’t stick to the iron when they cook. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into your waffle maker for each cheez waffle . Don’t overfill; you might end up with hard-to-remove squares that are fused together no matter how much you try to pry them apart!

3. Let the waffles cook for several minutes, or until they’re done all the way through. The waffle maker I used takes about 5-6 minutes for cheez waffles .

4. Enjoy your tasty treat! Serve by itself or with syrup, jam, jelly, powdered sugar…anything really!

Waffle recipe ideas (examples include Nutella, peanut butter, bacon)

Waffle Recipe/Suggestion Ideas! A while ago I asked for sandwich ideas and you guys came up with so many more than I could have ever imagined. So this time i want to do a waffle recipe idea thing again. 😀 Here is an example of a waffle recipe that would be amazing: Crispy chicken cheese balls with ranch dipping sauce 🙂

my favortie is nutella and strawberries on mine, or peanut butter and chocolate chips! there are so many good things you can put in them 🙂 megan

I love Nutella spread in my squares – it tastes like heaven to me!! Also, instead of milk (which is totally delicious too) use orange juice (the kind that comes out of concentrate). It gives it a fresh taste. Make sure you are using the square waffle-makers though, not the round ones… much crispier this way!!

For savory waffles make your favorite pancake batter but add baking powder to make them extra fluffy and light. They’re great for serving with eggs benedict. For sweet waffles I use Bisquik mix (a southern thing) with lots of cinnamon and vanilla added then top with fruit or whip cream or ice cream or really anything that sounds good! Have fun experimenting! 🙂 -Cheryl

The benefits of eating cheez waffies

The benefits of eating cheez waffies and other cheese based products was recently announced by scientists, and now scientists have discovered another benefit: Cheez Waffies can be used as a contraceptive!

The study, led by Dr. Tanya Montalvo of the Brigham Young University School of Engineering and Technology, tested three different brands of waffles (Kellogg’s ® , General Mills ® and Hostess) to see if they were effective contraceptives; the results were surprising. When exposed to semen for 8 hours before an attempt at fertilization, 100% of all samples showed complete inhibition in sperm motility and viability. “We expected some level of contraceptive effect, but we were surprised that it was nearly one hundred percent” commented Dr. Montalvo after completion of the experiment. When asked if the contraceptive effect was due to high sugar content, Dr. Montalvo replied “The vast majority of waffle carbohydrates are in the form of starch, which is not readily absorbed by the body unless cooked and prepared properly.”

She also mentioned that this discovery could give rise to new types of birth control products, she believed “We would like to develop a product which can be purchased at any convenience store, supermarket or vending machine so women everywhere can have access to reliable contraception easily and discreetly.”

When questioned about possible negative effects on sperm mobility and function, Dr. Montalvo responded “There are no negative effects on either sperm motility or viability; the only difference between the semen exposed samples and both controls (untreated and placebo) is that the sperm were not capable of fertilizing ova. This contraceptive effect is seen in all men we tested; we plan to expand our research to include studies with other populations.”
